August Membership Meeting
District I Council Member James Rodriguez will join our meeting after the election has been concluded so that we can share our converns with him and I asked CM Rodriguez to invite a representative of the the City of Houston's Legal Department to attend so that they can answer any questions we have about the COH's FAST team (Forfeiture, Abatement and Support). And, as always, Officer Rick Trejo will also attend and I've asked him to invite the manager and the owner of the Brookside Apartments to accompany him.
In an earlier mail I mentioned the possibility of Idylwood developing a working relationship with the apartment manager and owner so that we can convey to them our concerns and work towards a solution. I have received some positive responses to that email so perhaps this something positive that we can build on.
I hope to see you at the August meeting.
